Saegis Welcomes New CEO
OTTAWA, January 31, 2019 — The Board of Directors of Saegis, a provider of Canadian healthcare safety and practice management solutions, announced today that Margaret Hanlon-Bell has been appointed CEO, effective January 28, 2019. Saegis is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) that delivers programs and services that extend beyond the CMPA’s current offerings and contribute to safer and more sustainable healthcare in Canada.
Ms. Hanlon-Bell has over 25 years of experience and demonstrated success as both a healthcare professional and a senior business leader in the healthcare sector within North America. She has worked on international teams setting business strategy that enabled organizational growth through the provision of products and services that helped to improve the delivery of healthcare. Most recently she was Vice President, Sales and Product Management at Joule Inc. a Canadian Medical Association company. Margaret has sat on Boards of Directors both within healthcare companies and not-for-profit organizations. She currently sits as a Director on the Board of Parkinson Canada.
